Every kitchen needs a leaf blower187 viewsI arrived at Dulles about six hours before friends David and Catherine were scheduled to return from their Thanksgiving in another part of Florida. Fortunately, David's good friend Martin was staying at the house and was enlisted to give me a ride from the airport to the house.
The one uncluttered room111 viewsThis is D & C's living room. By David's admission, it is nicely uncluttered. However, he must not have recalled that there was a potty seat just out of sight near right.

David's friend Martin148 viewsDuring the evening, it was revealed that David and Catherine had been bumped from their flight and would be staying in Tampa for the night. They would be flying into Baltimore in the morning. Martin and I were tasked with meeting them so Catherine and the kids could return to the house with Martin while David and I went to the game. After the game we would have our traditional Hooters visit and then David would drop me off at BWI to fly back. He subsequently would drive back to Reston to be reunited with his wife, his kids, and Martin. Got all that?

Empty bird feeder135 viewsLong ago emptied by hungry squirrels, this forlorn bird feeder serves no purpose whatsoever other than to piss birds off. (Martin suggested that I document this.)
We arrive at M&T stadium107 viewsAfter parting with the family at the airport, David and I drove to his usual parking gas station, which is only a few blocks away from M&T Stadium. David got some of their greasy fried chicken, whilst I ate a delicious NutriSystem Dan Marino Bar.

Ravens owner Art Modell shows up for the game143 viewsThe 81 year-old football icon had moved the team here from Cleveland in 1996 after the Colts had left Baltimore in the middle of the night in 1983, thus bringing football back to Baltimore after a long absence. Modell required a wheel chair, as he is getting up there in years.
Art Modell accepts applause118 viewsThe crowd waiting to cross VIP alley gave Modell a round of applause and thanked him for bringing football back to Baltimore.
