The Reddish Egret Surveys His Hunting Grounds108 viewsReddish egrets are normally found on the west coast of Florida. The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, however, is their only east coast haunt. The "fishing dance" of the reddish egret is a sight to behold. The bird will spread his wings and prance around, casting shadows on the water, temporarily mesmerizing the fish.
